SRL provides professional powder coating services for businesses throughout Manchester from our own facility in Greater Manchester. With an experienced in-house team and dedicated powder coating plant, we can handle components for our own manufacturing projects as well as work supplied directly by aluminium, steel and roller shutter companies.
Keeping the process in-house gives us greater control over quality and turnaround times. Our facility is used to finish products including aluminium shop fronts, bi-folding doors, curtain walling, automatic doors and roller shutters, alongside components manufactured by other companies.
Commercial Powder Coating Services
Powder coating creates a hard-wearing finish that offers excellent resistance to scratching, chipping, fading and general wear. This makes it particularly suitable for aluminium and steel components used in commercial, architectural and industrial applications where both appearance and durability are important.
Our powder coating plant features two automatic reciprocators, a 90% powder recovery system and a four-stage in-line pre-treatment process. We can accommodate components up to 1.5 metres high, 2.5 metres long and 800mm wide, allowing a wide variety of fabricated sections and products to be finished at our Greater Manchester facility.

Because preparation and coating are carried out in-house, SRL can offer a fast and efficient service, with turnaround usually available within 24 hours. Customers with particularly time-sensitive requirements are welcome to contact our team to discuss availability and production times.
Before coating, sections are degreased and pre-treated using zirconium phosphate to prepare the surface for the powder finish. A comprehensive range of RAL and BS colours is available, providing considerable choice for architectural, commercial and industrial applications.
